Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Fans of the “Dolphin Tale” movies can see the real-life Winter the Dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This working hospital treats sick and injured ocean animals including sea otters, sharks, turtles and pelicans. For an additional fee, you can sign up for an animal encounter to feed and touch the animals. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Coral Gables
David Fairchild was one of the most famous plant explorers in the world, and the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is named after him. Experience a colorful butterfly garden, tropical rainforest, palm tree garden, rare plant house and aromatic fruit trees. Take a guided walking tour or sit back on a narrated tram tour and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
LEGOLAND Florida, Winter Haven
LEGOLAND Florida covers nearly 59 hectares and boasts more than 50 rides, attractions and shows designed for ages 2 to 12. In addition, the park has a wide array of restaurants and shops, the historic Cypress Gardens and LEGOLAND Water Park. The Ninjago World and World of Chima attractions are hugely popular with fans. Skydive Palm Beach
If you’ve always dreamed of skydiving, over Florida’s scenic and flat terrain is a great place to do it. TreeHoppers Aerial Adventure Park, Dade City
TreeHoppers is the ultimate ropes course and zipline park in one. This large aerial park is located 40 minutes north of Tampa and features eight courses with varying levels of difficulty. Cross wobbly bridges, climb swaying rope ladders, scale challenging climbing features and soar on ziplines through the trees. There’s a training course and safety harnesses to help you have fun safely.
