As the epicenter of movie-making, Southern California is a destination that everyone should experience at least once.

Along with the glitz and glamour, you have the diverse attractions of Los Angeles at hand – from world-class art in Santa Monica to the quirky street performers of Venice Beach. Movie buffs and TV aficionados absolutely must plan a visit to Universal Studios HollywoodTM. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a local who hasn’t been recently, the Universal magic is always there with thrill rides, live shows and behind-the-scenes tours that put you right in the middle of the Hollywood action.

Take the Famous Studio Tour

The world-famous backlot Studio Tour is where it all begins. This narrated tram ride – Spanish and Mandarin tours are available – takes you behind the scenes of a real, working movie studio that has been used since the days of silent films. Check out props and sets from big- and small-screen features spanning the decades – “Jaws,” “Back to the Future” and “Heroes,” to name a few. Put on the provided 3-D glasses for the “King Kong 360 3-D” feature and the “Fast & Furious – Supercharged” finale.
