There's a happy ease and calmness when you visit Florida’s Paradise Coast, including Naples, Marco Island – voted TripAdvisor's No. 1 island in the USA for 2014 – and the Everglades.
Situated on the southwest coast of Florida, 90 minutes from Miami, it is truly a paradise in every sense. From stunning picturesque white, sandy beaches and turquoise waters to world-class resorts, restaurants and adventures, Florida’s Paradise Coast will leave you wanting to return again and again.
Fun on the Water
Florida’s Paradise Coast encompasses the Ten Thousand Islands and the world-famous Everglades. While in the area, you don't want to miss exploring these wonderful places. As easy as it might be to just enjoy your days on the sandy white beaches overlooking the sparkling blue waters of the majestic Gulf Coast beaches, why not also have an adventure and get out on the water?
First up for me was a kayaking tour in the Everglades. The serenity you feel as you paddle out observing birds, “flying” mullet fish and other abundant wildlife is something you will never forget. The mangrove tree tunnels are also magical to paddle through.
Go places other boats cannot during on airboat ride in the Everglades. During my extremely fun ride, I saw several alligators and was excited to be able to pose for pictures near them from the safety of my airboat. Without any railings in the way, I look like I am right in front of them. Amazing!
My next adventure was a little more relaxing, a sunset cruise aboard the gorgeous Naples Princess yacht. Making your way along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico viewing the magnificent homes of Port Royal was very special. I enjoyed toasting the spectacular sunset with champagne. It was a perfect end to my first day in paradise.

A Golfer’s Paradise
If you prefer your activity on dry land, you're in luck because Florida’s Paradise Coast is also a paradise for golfers. In fact, the Paradise Coast was named “The Number One Golf Destination in North America,” which isn't all that surprising when you learn that Naples and Marco Island together have more than 90 golf courses and 1,620 holes.

Shopping is also absolutely brilliant in Florida’s Paradise Coast. In downtown Naples, the charming, historic area on Fifth Avenue South features unique shops, boutiques and art galleries. Third Street is another shopping highlight with one-of-a-kind restaurants. For the jet set, be sure and make your way over to the Waterside Shops, the Rodeo Drive of Florida.

Food Glorious Food
Paradise, of course, needs magnificent food to accompany the spectacular scenery, and the Paradise Coast certainly has that covered with many wonderful fine-dining restaurants. I visited several, including the lovely Sea Salt restaurant, where I was served a selection of some of the freshest seafood I've tasted anywhere in the world; Barbatella, which serves extremely tasty Italian fare; and the beachfront Turtle Club restaurant, where you can dine with your toes in the sand. There are dozens of award-winning chefs and restaurants to choose from in the Paradise Coast.
Florida’s Paradise Coast is a safe, beautiful destination with so much to do. You will create memories to last a lifetime, so start planning your holiday today.
