Guests will find plenty of options, from the most relaxed, such as the Golden Bee (a fun pub that’s famous for its yards of ale and a lively piano man who invites guests to sing along) and La Taverne, to the most sophisticated, such as the Penrose Room and Ristorante Del Lago.

For upscale dining, try the Penrose Room, still the only Five Star and Five Diamond restaurant in the region. Here you can complement the menu with an extensive European wine list and enjoy live entertainment and dancing. The restaurant’s location on the top floor of the building provides fantastic views of Cheyenne Mountain.

For a more casual, but still elegant, dining experience, the resort offers the contemporary Summit Restaurant. The lounge offers a large selection of cocktails and other beverages, making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink before or after dinner.

The spa’s surroundings are spacious and absolutely elegant. A staff member will walk guests through the spa and explain about each room, including the aromatherapy room, sauna, fireplace room and relaxation room, which has a gorgeous view of the golf courses. The Broadmoor offers wonderful sporting and outdoor activities for visitors who seek an athletic twist to their vacation.

World-class golf brings many visitors to The Broadmoor for an extended stay to challenge themselves and improve their game. The resort’s rich golfing heritage and top international rating is clear from its three championship courses by legends Donald Ross, Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jack Nicklaus Design. In fact, Nicklaus won his first national title as a 19-year-old amateur on The Broadmoor’s famous East Course. He later returned to design the Mountain Course here, which brings The Broadmoor’s spectacular offerings to 54 championship holes. If you’re a beginner or just a want a refresher on your game, The Broadmoor’s experienced golf professionals can tailor lessons to your skill level.

The Broadmoor’s tennis club has six courts including two roofed courts for play in wintertime, as well as pros available for lessons. The state-of-the-art fitness center also makes it easy to stay on track with your workout routine. Fitness classes and personal trainers are available. Nearby Attractions

Colorado Springs also offers many attractions. Just a 20-minute drive away, after you pass through streets that remind you of a small European town, you’ll find Pike’s Peak. More than 4,300 meters above sea level, Pike’s Peak is known for its hundred-plus-year-old cog railway. Riding on the train as it creeps slowly up the mountain while you take in all the beauty around you is a unique experience.
